Not much to say about this week's $5 Guys' Movie, "The Millers."
It's a more-than-highly deserved R rated flick; almost a 2013 version of "National Lampoon's Family Vacation." Except for the language.
I don't understand how they can take what is basically a really funny movie and f-bomb it into sewage. Do film-makers and script-writers not understand that they're eliminating at least half of their audience when they do this???
I gotta admit, I did walk out of the theater laughing. But I'm ashamed. I should've walked out about 10 minutes in. It was really funny, but not enough to excuse me from supporting the garbage that came out of the actors' mouths.
This is definitely a Guys' movie, but I'm not recommending it. I give it 1 knuckle sandwich for action, 2 windup chattering teeth for humor, and 5 bars of soap for gutter mouth.
Language alone makes it unsuitable for any kid you want to set an example for, no matter their age.
The laughs aren't worth it. Pick another movie.
